I would like to sell back 6 textbooks, one being an instructors edition.
I have to have these books sold before the 7th of this month. Are there bookstores, or places where I can walk in and sell my books to get cash right away? If so which places allow it? I've tried online places and I'm for certain the money will not get to me in time

Your best bet is to call around to used bookstores. If you're in a college/university town, start with the schools' bookstores first.
You would probably get more money selling them online (e.g., on Amazon), but it sounds like that's not an option for you.
