If i wanted to buy a school textbook would i be able to?

or could i by the same textbook from a bookstore?

i want to study more during summer

{prentice hall algebra 1} because i slacked off most of the year and it will most likely make geometry harder for me next year.

(i am passing with a solid C)

would i be able to just plainly buy the textbook elsewhere? If i wanted to buy a school textbook would i be able to?
buy your book at half.com it is much cheaper

hope this helps!!!If i wanted to buy a school textbook would i be able to?
you can probably buy it used on amazon or ebayIf i wanted to buy a school textbook would i be able to?
You can buy all sorts of textbooks on ebay or amazon.com. They are often more than half price off. You do not need to buy the same text you used since almost all algebra 1 texts cover the same stuff, because of Bush's education policy. tThe books do not present the material the same way so you should look at sample pages.

You can also get cds that can teach you algebra and all sorts of other math. These can also be found online and are very very inexpensive.

If you want to buy them from a store, Borders or Barnes %26amp; Noble carry some and can order the one you want, though if I were you I would not buy the one you used but some paperback review book. $15 is a lot better than $100.

Check used book stores. There is one where i live called Half Price Books. They are not nationwide but I know they are a growing chain. They have lots of textbooks and math cds at incredible prices, like five or ten dollars

Good luck.

I am glad you are passing with a C but as I found out when I was about your age, math is not like history. In history if you bomb the Revolutionary War, you do not need to know any of the material to pass the exam on the Civil war. In Math if you do not learn the stuff at the B+ level you will always be struggling with it. Good luck.
Hey!

Like the others, I recommend Half - If you don't know what it is, it's Ebay's "Sister" website, so it has a high reputation and is reliable. If you haven't heard of it, it's basically a website for people to sell and buy used textbooks. People tend to sell their textbooks at really discounted prices, so that's advantageous for us buyers :) These books are very cheap because when stores don't buy back books, students will do whatever they can to get rid of their books... and so they go on this site and well them at "dirt-cheap" discounts.

You will NOT find these discounts at bookstores or online stores such as Amazon!

I'm going to list a few of the POPULAR beginner algebra books that you might want to buy. They are published by Prentice Hall and I will include their Retail price and discounted price:

(Note: If you want a specific book that your school definitely uses, then click on one of these links or my source and go to the website and then do a search... otherwise, just check out these popular algebra books)

1. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-鈥?/a> Beginning Algebra - Retail price is $130, but prices go around $25

2. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-鈥?/a> Introductory Algebra - Retail price is $130, but prices are around $40.

3. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-鈥?/a> Beginning Algebra - Retail is $134, but prices are around $15.

I hope this has helped you ;) I recommend you buy the book that you want soon, because as summer school starts, prices will go back up when the demand increases.
