Looking for textbooks, is bookbyte dot com legit or a scam?

I'm looking for "Prentice Hall Reader 9th Edition" for my dual credit Comp 1 class. I found it used on bookbyte dot com for $48.10 Is this site legit? If you've had any experience dealing with this site, or other textbook site, I'd really appreciate some advice. And if this site is BS then could you please direct me to a site where I could order this book? Unfortunately I'm flat broke so anything above about 55 dollars is out of my price range :/

Thanks for reading!Looking for textbooks, is bookbyte dot com legit or a scam?
BookByte is okay but someother are better and cheap. But what I usually do is to compare prices across different stores before buying. I have always used www.usedtextbookprices.com while I shop for textbooks.

This site compare book prices across 100+ bookstores to find you the cheapest deal. I hope this helps you as it had helped me. Actual the below link is price list for you book across different websites.

I'd give http://www.bigwords.com a chance. Unlike most sites like bookbyte they never search throughout the internet to truly find you the best deals. You always have to go to another site and compare the prices yourself etc etc. Its ridiculous in my opinion. Bigwords.com, which I luckily found years ago, does all of that for you. So for example for this semester I need a specific book for my biosphere class and rather than paying $202 for it at my bookstore I used bigwords' search engine and they were able to find it for me for $38. Amazing. You can't beat that. So try them out, I think you'll get great use from them. Good luck!
Hey - I've never heard of that website but I do know a reputable website that I have been promoting over the past few years. www.chegg.com. I rent from them every semester and I save at least $300 compared to school bookstore prices that are very high!

Chegg has a promotion going on where you can win some good stuff possibly a vacation so I would try there. I just rented mine today (didnt win the vaca though) :( LOL
