How long did you wait to have sex after labor?

How long did it take for your body to heal after labor in order to have sex again? It has been 4 months for me and it is still too painful to have sex with my husband. I also can't take a bath b/c it hurts, is this normal or should I be healed by now?How long did you wait to have sex after labor?waited around 5weeks. I waited about 3 weeks. I made sure my stitches were gone and we went really REALLY slow.How long did you wait to have sex after labor?It shouldn't be hurting to take a bath. I would go to the doc if i were you.



It was 5 weeks after labor that i had sex again. We had to take it slow, and it was slightly uncomfortable at first, but as long as we make sure we have foreplay, and don't rush insertion, we've been having great sex.



And yes, i did tear, second degree. Also, my baby was 9lbs3oz. Maybe that's what a private doctor gets you? He did my stitches, maybe he took more time and care than a public doctor would?
