My cousin got pregnant at age 14, and gave birth at age 15.



I think its almost (sadly) expected, and kids are having sex earlier and earlier....How prevalent is premarital sex nowadays? What age do most teenagers engage in it?
i believe in sex before marriage, i don't care what people say, i'm only doing it with one person. i lost my virginity at 16, i am now 18 %26amp;%26amp; it's with the same person [my boyfriend of 2 years], so what if people think we're too young to have sex, it's MY life.

I am religious and don't favor it, but if kids do it, they should be responsible and not on here paniking about how they had sex and think their pregnant. I don't have a problem with premaritial sex but the problem is more and more teens are having sex and it keeps getting younger and younger and it seems like the biggest problem is these older guys thinking it is ok to sleep with 15 year old girls.

As i don't believe in marriage, strange i know, i do agree with premarital sex. BUT think that you need to be mature enough to engage in this activity safely
pretty common would think, not healty at a young age, yes i am in favor.
Many young adults live together without marriage in fact many couples of all ages do,. Marriage is not what it used to be with divorce rates so high. Most teens have had sex by 18, 16 and 17 is normal age to loose virginity but these days it is happening in middle schools.
I for one know that there are reason's why you shouldn't have sex before marriage. If you should conceive before marriage, you rob that child of blessings, and also yourself of blessings, and your future spouse of blessings.

I not married but live with my man, so I am in favour of premarital sex, but it must be safe, consentual, and legal!

I dont think teens should be sleeping with people, as teens can be so fickle, and their version of love is so different from an adults (consider it like this, I LOVE my new shoes!!!!). Plus, they dont have the mental and emotional maturity to deal with the consequences of sex - diseases, pregnancy, emotions etc.

When I was in high school 3 of my peers killed themselves because the person they "loved" had slept with someone else, and they couldnt deal with it.



However, if your teen is going to do it anyway, instead of taking the hard lined approach, and them getting pregnant cause they didnt have access to birth control, Id encourage abstinance until a little older, but give information and ensure access to family planning etc...
It depends if the teenager is ready or not. If they think they are, emotionally and physically, and they know ALL the consequences, its okay.



But if the teenager isn't ready, and is worried and nervous, it wouldn't be a good time. I'm not really sure what is the actual 'age' is preferred, but personally I'm not in favour of it. Its better to be married and have someone to support you if you get pregnant than to struggle along before your married with a baby.

I am not in favor of pre marital sex. It is a sin and sex is for marriage only between a husband and his wife. I don't think it's healthy either. It's really prevalent in the West.
16 is the average age and you should test drive the car before you buy it.
All marriage is, is a way for girls to get rich by marrying say a footballer then in the divorce becomming a millionare.

As for sleeping around its not immoral. its just you were not lucky enough to find your soulmate age 15 and couple up happy.



What about all those who dont find a soulmate, or would have to wait till age 34 with 4 years till memopause when their body is saggy and nobody else wants tham?



Why live your life alone whilst everyone around is happy coupled arounf you or simply has a great sex life.?

Around the world most teenagers start 14-17 ie mid teenage when homeows are strongests and teherfore so are emotions, feelings and needs.



Commonly 16-17 is the most common and healhty.





Whats the healthiest systm is for time to be taken to slowly develop emotionally.



Ie take a few years from first dates to full sex or at least a few months... getting used to dating, kissing, pettng ie feeling up.



Then semi sexaul stuff like hand, boob, finger, lick etc sex activites, getting used to being seen naked, your partners naked, being comfortable things and obnly moving on whrn both are readdy.





All the time practicing very safe sex with muiltple forms of contraception at the same time and morning after pills on standby with very high livels of sex ed.





Not just that but a hell of a lot of emotional support and advice from parents and friends which is why its important to start mid teens when you can go running homr to mum after you had a tiff, fight, got dumped o boy or girlfreind turns out to be a two timing jerk.



Also you learn an incredible amout anbout life, social skills, feelings the other sex, realtioship etc etc and confidence, self esteem, who you are etc from teenager sexaul realtioships which form the foundation of all furture realtioships.





Withotu thai its like trying to build a pyrmid upsdide down which always falls over and realtioships dont work and you are too shy and clueless and get messed around, and end up very lonley.
