What wrong with having sex with dead people?

I don`t have sex with dead folks but i would like to know when it became taboo for people to engage in sexual activity with the dead.Can someone answer me that?What wrong with having sex with dead people?There is no longer a personality animating a corpse. Sex that does not involve personality-to-personality interaction is degrading to all living parties involved.



Biologically speaking, this is why humans evolved to have sex face-to-face as the standard (or most frequent) form of sexual interaction. Having sex face-to-face means that you look at each other, or at least can look at each other.



But the dead can't look back at you. And that cuts way down on the amount of intimacy involved--the whole way down to zero.

Well, back in the old days, when most everyone believed in spirits and such, I'm sure they figured having sex with their corpse would be a good way to piss them off.

OK, while I was Googling more articles (and this Wikipedia was the BEST I could find), someone else posted the link. It turns out animals DO have sex with the dead. Gay sex even.

It's morally wrong. I would imagine (shudder) that it's rather cold and smelly too, having sex with an unresponsive corpse. Not to mention disrespectful.
