Just curious how other people see this. It is a long sought after goal for me to have a lover that can share with me fully in body, mind and spirit, but it seems to allude me.

Ive tried...I was engaged for three years and he was amazing...except for the sex...it was okay...but lacking. I ended up breaking it off cause I just lost the attraction for him. I still love him...as a best friend, but Im not physically attracted to him anymore.

I would say it's important, however it is not everything. A relationship based on how good sex is I would say is doomed from the start. Ultimately you will end up viewing each other as nothing more than outlets for lust. The sex may not be mind blowing, but look at the other things about them.



We are all searching for that partner that gives everything we want. You never know there may be more to it. Look deeper into this person and not just about how their performance is in bed. Than decide if you should be in a relationship on the level you are seeking.



To me sex is important, but it's the bond that you make, and the level of what your sharing when you have sex with your partner that makes things special. I know there are many many who may disagree. This is why I think sex it important in a close relationship. Spend some time thinking about your partner and come up with EVERYTHING about them you like. By that point I think you can decide weather or not it's worth being with them. Weather your ready to accept it or not remains to be seen.
