I know exactly how she feels! Take things very slow. Lot's and lot's of foreplay and make sure you have her completely relaxed! It isn't painful then. Talk to her about this though. She has to be willing to relax and then try different things. Once she realizes that relaxation will help relax the muscles and there will not be pain, she will be more comfortable about it and willing to try different positions.
