I do not want to cause offense to my boyfriend as he is a muslim and I am not. He said that we cannot have sex during the day or kiss each-other. But a hug or hand-shake is alright. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When Ramadan arrives, the doors of Heaven are wide open and the doors of Hell are shut down, and the devils are chained, and an announcer will say, 'O doer of good, come forward! O doer of bad, restrain yourself!'"



It should be stressed that having a premarital relationship is definitely prohibited whether during Ramadan or after it. Before i converted and was not Married to my Husband i could not see him during this time - any touching is not permitted during fasting hours (from sunrise to sunset) even holding hands. There is no harm in hugging or kissing one's wife while fasting if one can reasonably be certain that he or she will be able to restrain themselves and thus will not be carried away to engage in sexual intercourse.



We are told that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), used to kiss his wife while fasting, but as reported by `A’ishah, "Who among you is as able to restrain himself as the Prophet, peace be upon him, was.”




He is comitting haram by doing the same sex marriage. Fasting for such people is not acceptable to Allah. They will be in hell fire whether they fast or they don't fast. He must know if he is Muslim that Allah destroyed entire nation of Lut Aleh Assalam's for practicing

homosexuality by throwing stones on them from skies and creating a severe earth quake. Not a single person was left alive. If Muslim homosexual doesn't get punishment of his sins in this life, he will

certainly be punished in hell fire. His fasting will not help him unless he stops his sinful life completely and repent to Allah for forgiveness.
