What is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?

I just gave birth to my second child almost 2 weeks ago. During labor I did not tare. I am no longer bleeding. Do I still have to wait 6 weeks to have sex? Why are you suppose to wait? With my first child I tore in 2 places and was still bleeding and had sex after 4 weeks and everything seemed to be ok. Why do they tell you to wait 6 weeks? What is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?I knew someone that got caught having sex in the hospital bed the day she gave birth. Needless to say she was back there 9 months later! What is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?
with my first i had sex 2 1/2 weeks after i had our son.. do it wenever u feel comfortable :)What is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?my doctor said it was a personal preference but he recommended 6 weeks, just make sure if you do have sex that you are protected, I'm sure you know this but a woman is extremely fertile after having given birth!
You have to wait 6 weeks cause all though you may not be bleeding and you didnt tear and you feel just fine, your still healiing on the inside, your uterus and all and you dont need to have sex before then because you can get a serious infection, wait 6 weeks, if you cant wait then masturbate eachother, its better than nothingWhat is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?i would say after your not bleeding and if you had no stitches if you feel up to it but i am not a doctor so i guess that up to you but remember you can get pregnant again your not preg anymore so its back to birth controlWhat is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?
I guess they say that cuz your still healing and what not....and plus you are super fertile after having a baby! Trust me, i got pregnant right away after having my son....but it ended up being an ectopic pregnancy...doc said because it was too soon after delivering :(
Actually you can have it right away, but that's not recommended since it may be painful. I have heard of people doing this - being excited after the birth of a child and then ending up having sex.

Obviously if it feels comfortable then you can have it now - 2 weeks is a good wait. "6 weeks" is just a recommendation. What is the soonest you can have sex after giving birth?
ASAP!!!!....this way your husband won't cheat on you!!
