How painful is sex for the first time?

I am planning on having sex with my guy for the first time tonight. I prepared I am on birth control. I have condoms. I heard the first time is very painful. What should I do to prepare myself for the pain? How long does the pain usually last?

How painful is sex for the first time?well for me it hurt once they start 2 put it in but once they actually get in it and start the stroke its not painfull at all...as for bleeding its different 4 every1 for insance i bled alot but my friends slightly spotted on theirs so do you hun :)

for me it was like a slight pain then it was sore, but i relaxed and told him how i felt and he listened.

Nothing will prepare you but maybe put your two index fingers in everyday and stretch it a bit
