I had unprotected sex the week following my period. How soon can I take a test?

I am so anxious to find out if we're pregnant or not. My period ended april 18th, we had sex the 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th. Do I really have to wait until I miss a period? That's an entire month away! I think I'll drive my self insane, can I find out any sooner? Any suggestions on which home test works the best on picking up pregnancy the soonest?I had unprotected sex the week following my period. How soon can I take a test?ok i did 5 home pregnancy tests and all come back neg, i waited 2 weeks and got a blood test and it come back i was pregnant and i was 8 weeks along. all my home pregnancy tests didn't work because my hcg levels (hormone) were too low to pick up i was pregnant through my urine but could just pick it up in my blood that i was pregnant. i would say the only home pregnancy test i didn't try was the Clear Blue ones. I've heard there good and easy to use, it comes up if your pregnant or not. it says either pregnant or not pregnant. also if any home pregnancy test comes back neg and you feel your pregnant than wait a couple of weeks and get a blood test done. good luck and i hope you are pregnant.I had unprotected sex the week following my period. How soon can I take a test?well i guess it may not be the same for all women but i always thought that you had to wait exactley 2 weeks from the first day of your last period to get pregnant.... it wokred for me that way... i have 2 kids and now im expecting my third..... but you can take a test five days before your missed period if you buy "first response"!!! good luck!
