How important is sex to a man in a relationship?

So I'm not the type of person to sleep around. I've noticed (obsviously) that every single time I meet someone and let them know by the 3rd/4th date that I won't sleep with them they seem alright with it. Then, they slowly back away and drop off the radar as it were. Is sex really really that important to ALL men as they say? No sex isn't that important, although maybe they are worried that you mean no sexual contact in anyway.



I personally would have no probably waiting to have intercourse with someone, in fact I would want to wait, but I would hope that there would be some sexual contact that would build up over time otherwise I would feel that relationship was just a friendship and not anything more. Your doing the right thing though,your exposing guys by doing this if they slowly disspear because you wont have sex then that means that they only wanted sex anyway :)

yes, most guys want that and usually that's what they are focused on when they take you on the first few dates. You shouldn't just give them what they want to keep them around, because as soon as they see something more appealing, your out of luck.

Men are designed to fertilise the egg of a female. The very fact that we go to the 4th date without getting any is just because we have a large brain. However a tank can only take so much water before it overfows.
men are not one size fits all. they come with a variety of priorities and characteristics. you will meet a man who understands and be okay with waiting for you to be ready.

Some guys are decent some arent, i guess if they like you enough they won't rush you for sex and will wait as long as it takes. They should respect your wishes, whatever they may be.
